Let's grow brinjal easily

Let's grow  brinjal easily Soil - Well-drained, fine-grained soil is suitable for brinjal cultivation. It is best to maintain the soil pH between 5.5 - 5.8. Climatic requirements - brinjal can be grown in areas with good sunlight, from sea level to an altitude of about 1300 meters. Seed requirement - About 350 grams per hectare. Nursery Management - Beds of 3 meters by 1 meter, arranged to receive the best sunlight, are suitable. The beds should be seeded. Add soil and manure in a 1:1 ratio. The seeds should be placed in rows with a spacing of 6 inches. Land preparation - Turn and level the land with a hoe or tractor. Planting - Plant the seedlings about 25-30 days old in prepared beds, one seedling per hole. Spacing - 90 cm x 60 cm. Watering - In dry areas, brinjal can also be cultivated with rainwater. Watering should be done to obtain a successful harvest and maintain it as a profitable crop. It is important to water the soil well during dry periods without allowing it...

Watermelon cultivation

 Watermelon cultivation

Watermelon is a very popular fruit. Eating this fruit is very helpful in maintaining the body properly. It especially helps in hydrating the body. This fruit helps in regulating body temperature, normal organ function, and cell nutrition.

Watermelon is a good solution for daily water intake. Due to the low calorie content of watermelon, it helps in regulating body weight. For these reasons, watermelon consumption can be seen at a high level.

Growing watermelons

For watermelon cultivation,

  • Sandy soil
  • Long sunlight
  • Water
  • Space

The method of growing watermelons from seeds and grafting can be used. The tax system makes it easier to obtain yields quickly and to manage and maintain the crop properly.

When selecting watermelon seeds, seeds with a germination percentage of 85%-90% should be selected. Also, the seeds should be free from diseases. When growing large-fruited crops, there should be a spacing of 24-30 square feet per plant. The average spacing between rows is 6 feet to 8 feet.

When planting watermelon seeds, the planting depth should be 2.5 centimeters.

Adequate water and fertilizer should be applied throughout the fruit growing season.

For commercial crops, 134 kilograms of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium should be applied per hectare. This fertilizer is applied in divided doses.

Climatic requirements

Areas with ambient temperatures below 20 degrees Celsius are not suitable for cultivation. Therefore, watermelon cultivation is not suitable for areas with extremely cold climatic environments.

In areas with little rainfall, crops can be destroyed by fungal diseases, which affect the leaves, roots, and fruits.

Soil for cultivation - Well-drained soil is suitable.

Ground preparation

  • Prepare raised beds about a meter wide.
  • Prepare holes 30 x 30 x 30.
  • Mix organic fertilizer and fill the holes.

Planting seeds

Plant seeds deep in fine soil.

Depending on the soil and moisture content, the planting depth varies from 1/2 to 1 inch.

Reduce the planting depth when the soil moisture is high.

Plant 3-4 seeds per hole.

Plant the seeds at a distance from each other to avoid damage during transplanting.

If the soil temperature is low, the time taken for seedlings to germinate will be longer.

It may take about 7-10 days for seedlings to emerge.

To prevent damage from animals, seedlings can be planted in packets and then planted in cultivation beds.
