Use of Anoda seed extract for pest control in vegetable cultivation

In pest control, the use of synthetic pesticides based on a single active compound kills the pest instantly.  However, the widespread use of these synthetic pesticides in pest control has resulted in adverse strains, destruction of beneficial organisms, and deposition of toxic residues in the crop, leading to adverse health effects, but pesticides  Provides protection to the crop from being crippled or systematically killed or repelled.  There is a high demand for bio-pesticides in the world due to the rapid decomposition of these pesticides, the minimal adverse effects on the environment and their health benefits.  Research has shown that the demand for biological pesticides in pest control is growing by 16% annually. The use of herbicides as pesticides has become a major component of agriculture in the world.  Commercially manufactured herbal pesticides are very important to avoid it.



Application of Anoda seed extract in pest control.

The aim is to test the potential use of herbal water extracts from the surrounding environment for pest control, select suitable ones and introduce them to small scale home gardens such as organic and home gardening.  Anoda seed extract has been identified as one of the most suitable herbicides to be used for pest control.




How to apply Anoda seed extract in pest control

Grind 25g of Anoda seeds and mix it with water and keep it in a jar for 24 hours. Squeeze this mixture several times with water on a piece of mesh cloth and make a 1L solution. For pest control, add 3ml of liquid soap (Teepol) or soap 3g and mix well.  Apply to crop with a sprayer.  In the evening it is more effective to apply the crop to the pest control in the evening as the active time of the Anoda seed extract is reduced by exposure to the sun.
